Our Quinine Attorneys
Steven J. Kherkher

Steven J. Kherkher has been practicing law for nearly 20 years, virtually all of it at Williams Kherkher Law Firm, where he is a partner. Steve is a cum laude graduate of South Texas College of Law.
Steve is responsible for managing several pharmaceutical dockets, in addition to Quinine. Prior to Quinine, Steve successfully tired dozens of fen-phen cases, and is currently heading up the Vioxx docket.
Since the FDA mandated that pharmaceutical companies stop producing drugs that contain Quinine for "off-label" purposes (i.e., for conditions other than malaria), Steve has led the firm's efforts to sign up clients.
Steve is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas. He holds memberships in the Houston Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
John T. Boundas

John T. Boundas, a partner at Williams Kherkher Law Firm, co-manages the firm's Quinine docket. John was number-one in his class at the University of Iowa College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Texas. In addition, John is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to his involvement with Quinine, John helped manage Williams Kherkher's fen-phen docket of nearly 7,000 cases. He tried a number of those cases, and is now heavily involved in the litigation surrounding Vioxx.
Quinine has been found to be the cause of death for 93 people. These deaths have resulted from taking the drug for "off-label" purposes - meaning for conditions other than the one for which it was originally intended (malaria). John is heavily involved in working with Williams Kherkher clients who are suffering from adverse reactions as a result of Quinine.
